Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has appeared in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway productions including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. She was first seen in a television show on Star Search at age 15 She has also performed as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster is a soloist performing in the US as well as overseas along with Michael Rafter. They have covered songs off the debut album "Wish" and the follow-up CD, An Evening With Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in 2011. As well as being an advisor and professor within the Department of Theatre and Dance She was also conferred this honor by Ball State University. She is a part of TV Land's "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
