Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox, who studied for three years at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student as well as working part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was unhappy in her performance when compared to that of her peers. Then she began to consider alternatives. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. That was also where she came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album had a tremendous success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October of 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs most loved blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1980s as the Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit tracks, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa, her 1995 album studio has version covers of No MoreI Love Yous or A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album to her credit.
